Driggs, Idaho is the County seat for Teton County, Idaho. Nestled at an elevation of 6200 ft between the majestic Tetons and the beautiful Big Hole Mountains, Driggs has a diverse population of approximately 1300 people in an incorporated area of nearly 350 acres. Driggs has numerous housing opportunities along with a large range of business enterprises.

A new National Geographic Geotourism Guide is now available for the Greater Yellowstone area. An interactive, searchable website is online, in addition to pdf versions of the printed guide. The guide highlights unique places, attractions, activities, shopping, etc. within the Greater Yellowstone region.

The historic Driggs business district combines the old west with the eclectic,and includes new and used bookstores, an authentic Austrian bakery, an historic soda fountain, impressive local artist galleries, cafes, pubs, grills, outdoor gear shops, and more! Please visit the Chamber of Commerce website for details on all of the local businesses, merchants and artists as well as the many events, including the Teton Valley Summer Festival (July 3-8), held around the year. Driggs is a city in Teton County, Idaho, United States. It is part of the Jackson, WY-ID Micropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,100 at the 2000 census. The city is the county seat of Teton County[1]. It was founded by Don Carlos Driggs whose descendants later moved to Arizona and founded Western Savings and Loan where most live still, though some remain in Idaho. John Driggs, a descendant of Don Carlos Driggs, later became the mayor of Phoenix, Arizona in the 1970s. National Geographic magazine listed Driggs as one of the 10 best outdoor recreation destinations in the U.S
